I have to admit, with autumn right around the corner I'm not sure I'm ready for brisk mornings like today's, but by the time the late afternoon rolled around I was reminded of how amazing days like these are! The sun was shining so beautifully, the leaves are just starting to change and the air was crisp and clear (and there was a rainbow in the sky to boot!)...aaahhh - perfection! I loved capturing the love between these two - and you'll see why when you check out some of my favorites from today...Congrats on your engagement, Melinda and Matthew!

Enchanted. That was the word that kept coming to mind during today's engagement session. I was so excited to do this shoot, not only because these Mr.-and-Mrs.-to-be are fun, full of energy and gorgeous to boot, but because the location of the shoot has everything I love....woods, a river, flower, fields, golden sunshine...aah! It was a joy-filled day in Amherst, Massachusetts for Melanie and Jake's wedding! Blue skies, a blanket of white snow and pops of purple flowers made for a colorful, beautiful backdrop and music from the Jolly Beggars played throughout the ceremony - it was perfect! I had the great pleasure of capturing the day. Here are some of my favorites!

Snow + Friends + Love = THIS. Seriously...this is what happens when a couple embraces the weather on the day of their shoot! The snow was absolutely magical and although it was a little chilly, you can see how these two kept smiling and having fun! They'll be Mr. and Mrs. in just a few weeks and I can't wait to capture that day, too! In the meantime, check out some of my favorites from today...

I'm still smiling from this photo session! Not only did I get to travel to Baltimore (one of my favorite cities - if you haven't been, what are you waiting for?), but I got to capture the love between one of my dearest friends and her amazing fiancé. We had a blast at different spots around Locust Point, including Fort McHenry. Not sure where that is or why it is amazing? Surf on over to Wikipedia right after checking out these gorgeous shots!

Wow! What an amazing year it has been. I am so thankful to every one of you who trusted me to capture your special moments. It brings such joy to me to be able to photograph love, family, togetherness and the many other precious fleeting moments of life. Here are some of my favorites from 2013.
