It's true, the months of October and November are beyond busy for photographers, because we try to squeeze in as many sessions as possible before Christmas card season, before the last of the leaves fall from the trees, and before the weather crosses over into "just too cold" land. With that said, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing several families (all of whom I love!!), and here are some of my favorites from their mini-sessions...enjoy!

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for spring to finally be here! Not only does this mean that I can say goodbye to winter coats, gloves and scarves for awhile, but I can finally get back outside and do what I love most - photograph amazing people! Wendy Paine Miller is my wonderful friend who is a talented writer! Her new book, The Flower Girls, will be released in just a few weeks, and I also had the pleasure of designing the cover for it, too (you can see it below)! I had an absolute blast capturing these images of Wendy, my friend who is beautiful inside and out!

Wow! What an amazing year it has been. I am so thankful to every one of you who trusted me to capture your special moments. It brings such joy to me to be able to photograph love, family, togetherness and the many other precious fleeting moments of life. Here are some of my favorites from 2013. These images we the ones that gave me butterflies when I was taking the photo and continue to put a smile on my face. Which ones do you like best?

When one of my dear friends was in need of new head shots and portraits for her career in theatre, I jumped at the chance to photograph her! Even in the bitter cold temperatures, we had a blast. With a city full of wonderful textures at my fingertips, how could I not be excited about this photo session? Even with the heat and humidity in full force for this custom photo session, we had a blast! We captured tons of different looks for both professional and personal use, and we were able to shoot in several locations, from downtown Hartford to West Hartford center.
