Wow. That's all that keeps popping into my head when I think about yesterday's amazing wedding. From the moment I began snapping photos to document the day, everyone was calm, relaxed, and smiling from ear to ear! And, laughter filled the ceremony and reception in a way that truly said "love is in the air!" I can't decide what my favorite part of Eileen and Dave's big day was, because there was so much to choose from - the stunning dress, amazing barn (built by the bride's father!), gorgeous property, the FUN bridal party or even the delicious handmade pie a la mode. The whole day was fantastic, and a big congrats goes out to Eileen and Dave!

Even with the threat of rain looming, nothing could keep this special day from shining with love, happiness and laughter! The picturesque setting of Tyrone Farm in Pomfret, CT was filled with special touches including gorgeous flowers around every corner, rustic lanterns and handmade signs, photos, favors and so much more. And, not one raindrop fell after all! The day was perfect from start to finish. Congratulations, April and Drew!

Enchanted. That was the word that kept coming to mind during today's engagement session. I was so excited to do this shoot, not only because these Mr.-and-Mrs.-to-be are fun, full of energy and gorgeous to boot, but because the location of the shoot has everything I love....woods, a river, flower, fields, golden sunshine...aah! This little cutie just turned three weeks old today! From his precious quirky smile to his itty bitty toes, I just wanted to squeeze him and love him for hours. I was so happy to get the chance to photograph Malik - especially because his parents are friends of mine and I'm just beaming with happiness for their new bundle of joy! I think you'll agree that Malik tops the cute list! Here are some of my favorites...

This post is a long time coming, but I wanted to make sure to share these because they top the list as one of my all time favorite shoots thanks to these adorable sisters, the amazingly gorgeous property (which was in Alabama) and the happiness of the day (which followed a super-special wedding the day before). Wow, what an honor to support Love146 by photographing a benefit tea this past weekend. Love146 works towards the end of child trafficking & exploitation by caring for survivors, prevention & empowering a growing Abolition movement. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for spring to finally be here! Not only does this mean that I can say goodbye to winter coats, gloves and scarves for awhile, but I can finally get back outside and do what I love most - photograph amazing people! Wendy Paine Miller is my wonderful friend who is a talented writer! Her new book, The Flower Girls, will be released in just a few weeks, and I also had the pleasure of designing the cover for it, too (you can see it below)! I had an absolute blast capturing these images of Wendy, my friend who is beautiful inside and out!
